Karpel is the vendor that provides the service to the prosecutor's office to be able to email information from Karpel or PBK. This service is allowed through the use of an App registration in Microsoft Entra. Below are the steps to test the email relay in Karpel.
Log into Karpel as an administrator. Navigate to Mail Settings>Options>Maintain as shown below
Click on the Test Settings button as shown below. If successful this will generate a test email from the account of the person who is logged into Karpel with a subject of "Test Email from PBK" and the 2nd screenshot below will show the success message.
